Welcome to my homepage! I am Ziheng Wei (魏子恒), an incoming Statistics PhD student at UC Santa Barbara. My first name is pronounced / Zee-hung /. Feel free to call me by my English name Everett. This site is where I share my research, background, and a few things beyond academia. Thanks for stopping by!

About Me

I am an incoming Statistics PhD student at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), jointly mentored by Annie Qu and Xiaowu Dai. Previously, I got a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I completed my undergraduate study at Wuhan University, majoring in Statistics. I grew up in Shenyang, a beautiful city in northeastern China, where I spent the first eighteen years of my life.

I am broadly interested in Reinforcement Learning and Large Language Models.
